How to Fix the New Woo-Commerce WP Rocket Issues

Lawrence M • August 19, 2020

Below is a excerpt our team has recently recieved from the WP Rocket team. It seems that Wordpress' newest update may have broken many quality plugins + Wordpress/Wo0commerce - Websites. In short, we wanted to share this information and solution with you straight from the WP rocket team themselves.

Hi Lawrence,

We are sending this email to communicate important information that may impact your website if you’re using WooCommerce.

Yesterday, WooCommerce released a new version (4.4.0) which breaks themes and plugins, including WP Rocket.

We released a new version of WP Rocket (3.6.4) to avoid the conflict between WooCommerce and our plugin. We want to help you solve the problem if your site is still using WP Rocket and experiencing the conflict.

You can download and update for free this new version of WP Rocket (but please consider that this won’t reactivate your license nor give you access to support and future updates).

Download WP Rocket v3.6.4 from here.

Depending on your configuration, here are our suggestions on how to proceed:

  1. If WP Rocket is still active on your site, but you didn’t update WooCommerce to v4.4.0:
Update WP Rocket to v3.6.4 before updating WooCommerce to v4.4.0.

  2. If WP Rocket is not active on your site and you didn’t update WooCommerce to v4.4.0:
Activate WP Rocket and update it to v3.6.4 before updating WooCommerce to v4.4.0.

  3. If WP Rocket is not active on your site and you already updated WooCommerce to v4.4.0, you have two alternative options:
  • Update WP Rocket manually and reactivate it
    OR
  • Downgrade WooCommerce to 4.3.3, reactivate WP Rocket, and update it to v3.6.4; only then, update WooCommerce to v4.4.0.

Dual Pixel teamed up with Built Bar to create an engaging motion graphics video that showcases the delicious flavors of their protein bars. The concept revolved around a dynamic tornado of vibrant ingredients—such as nuts, chocolate, and fruit—being swirled together and packed into a Built Bar. This creative approach aimed to visually highlight the product's appeal while capturing the attention of potential customers.
